Background of the Shopping Street Mystery Solving Event

Shinagawa Ward will end the "Tsumami-Eating Walk" in fiscal year 2008, which lasted 11 times, and will start a new "Shopping Street Mystery Solving Event" in fiscal year 2009, where participants will freely visit shopping streets in the ward. The "Shopping Street Mystery Solving Event" has been held since FY 2009. *Online event was held by Corona in FY2020.



This project aims to revitalize shopping streets, and the 8th event will be held in a shopping street in the Ebara district.



About "Real Riddle Solving Game in Shinagawa"

Nakanobu Shopping Arcade ・ Togoshiginza Shopping Arcade ・ Musashi Koyama Shopping Arcade Palm This is an interactive event where you solve a riddle while looking for clues in three shopping areas and find the final keyword. This is a hands-on event to find the final keyword.



Participants will use the riddle solving kit （ and booklet ） obtained at Tokyu Line stations in Shinagawa Ward or the Shinagawa Tourist Association to solve the riddles in each shopping district. Report the keywords that can be found by solving the last riddle and answer a questionnaire to participate in a drawing for prizes such as afternoon tea pair tickets and houseboat pair tickets.



"Shopping Street Mystery Solving Event" Story

This is EBARA, a town with many lively shopping streets. One day, you found a mysterious game machine in a back alley. What is it … … a game machine I've never seen before, but … the moment you touched it, light flooded from the screen. It's dazzling … ！," you said, closing your eyes. And when you opened your eyes, … you saw a cat with a sword speaking in a human language.

"Hello. I am Leo the Brave. You must be the brave man of this world. ！ Let's go together to defeat the Demon King ！"



Three dungeons [Nakanob, Togoshiginza, and Musashikoyama] where legendary items lie. And now the adventure of you and Leo begins to defeat the Demon King that awaits beyond.



How to participate ・ How to proceed

1 ） Get the Riddle Solving Kit （ booklet ） to participate.

2 ） Read the story in the kit and start the game in your favorite of the three puzzle solving areas.

3 ） Solve the riddle by combining the information in the kit with the clues you find by exploring the shopping district, and when you solve it, head to the next area.

4 ） Solve the last riddle and report your solution on the web or at the local reception location （ info&cafe SQUARE ） to clear the riddle.

*You can report your final solution either on the web or at the local （ info&cafe SQUARE ）, but the reporting hours at the local （ info&cafe SQUARE ） are 11:00 - 18 :00 （ Closed on Wednesdays ）.
