障害者週間（１２月３日〜１２月９日）は、障がい者福祉への関心を深め、障がい者があらゆる分野の活動に積極的に参加する意欲を高めるために設けられました。
市では、障害者週間に合わせて、障がい者団体や障害福祉サービス事業所の活動紹介、作品展示を行います。

障がい者週間啓発事業の一貫で、映画上映会を行います。
・日時 １２月９日（月） 午後１時００分〜午後３時３０分
・場所 秋川ふれあいセンター ふれあいホール
・内容 「こんな夜更けにバナナかよ 愛しき実話」 難病の筋ジストロフィーを患った方の実話をもとにした作品です。
